Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented Shopify Front-End Developer with a passion for crafting visually appealing and highly functional Shopify websites. You will be responsible for the customization and development of the front-end of our clients' Shopify stores, ensuring seamless integration with Shopify’s back-end systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Shopify’s Liquid templating language and a strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize and develop Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect, user-friendly designs.
  • Ensure responsiveness and performance optimization across devices and browsers.
  • Implement dynamic content and interactive features for an engaging user experience.
  • Integrate third-party apps and widgets into Shopify themes.
  • Perform cross-browser compatibility checks and address UI-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the back-end development team to ensure smooth front-end and back-end integration.
  • Conduct regular performance audits and recommend optimizations for faster page loads.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience with Shopify theme development and Liquid templating language.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience working with Shopify's Sections, Templates, Metafields, and Theme Customization.
  • Knowledge of front-end libraries and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
  • Experience with Shopify’s Admin API and third-party app integrations.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals).
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Shopify Plus and headless Shopify setups.
  • Familiarity with Figma or other design tools.
  • Basic understanding of Liquid filters, for loops, and logic statements.
